Absolutely! Backpacking Rinjani's main focus is Open Trips and Sharing Packages. Solo travelers are very welcome to join our shared groups, make new friends from all over the world, and save on costs.
No. We provide all essential camping equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, and cooking gear. You only need to bring your personal items and warm clothing.
Yes, most of our Open Trip packages include pick-up from main locations in Lombok (such as the Airport, Senggigi, or Bangsal). Full details can be found on the Inclusions tab of each package.
The best time is generally during the dry season, from April to December. The weather is usually more favorable and the views are spectacular.
Rinjani is a challenging trek that requires good physical fitness, especially the summit attack. However, physically active beginners can certainly join. We highly recommend choosing a longer duration package (at least 3 days) for beginners.
We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance. Our Open Trip quotas are strictly limited and fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons.
